HER LITTLE ECCENTRICITIES.
Mrs Bernard Beere, the accomplished aotreßS, lives in London in a ptstty, old fashioned cottage in Marylebone road, not many paces from St. Marylebone Church. One of the awkward results of thia proximity to the ohuroh is that persons on marrying, christening, or burying bent too often ring at Mrs Beere'a cottage, under the impression that the church authorities reside there. Mrs Besre's house is a delightful bijou residence. The famous actress' favourite room is known as the Bed Rcom, and to this only friends and visitors of distinction ate admitted.
One oorner of this delightful zoom is taken up by a great divan, in whioh tbe Grand Turk himself would be delighted to 1011, and then again there iB one of the hugest arinohahs ever made, in whioh Mrs Bernard Beere can coil herself at will.
Mrs Bernard Beere has her superstitious beliefs, as is evidenced by the big horseshoe from Sandringham whioh hangs over her door, and she nourishes a strange fancy for mechanical toys, dancing dolls, and money boxes.
