At the Stores, Tyne street, DESIRABLE AGRICULTURAL FARM Of 608 ACRES FOR SALE. : (Near Oamaru), FLEMING & HEDLEY (in conjunction with The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited) have received instructions from Messrs D. and W. Grant to sell by publio auction, as above — Their well-known and highly-cultivated Farm, containing 608 acres, beiDg sections 12, 19, and 27, blook V, Awamoko. The improvements are extensive, consisting of a very substantial five-roomed house, new dairy and wash-houses, cowshed, piggery, four-stalled stable and horse-box, barn, &o. The surroundings are good and attractive. Besides the usual pines, cypresses, and gum trees, there is a really good orchard of one acre in extent, planted with the very best fruit trees, all in full bearing. The Farm is noted for its productive powers, more especially for wheat. It has been no uncommon thing to grow from 40 to 55 bushels to the acre, and the grain grown on the place has obtained many prizeß at the Oamara shows. The removal of produce is reduced to a minimum, as a railway station is only two miles from the homestead. The Farm has not been impoverished by over-cropping, the usual rotation being strictly adhered to. There are about 300 acres under crop this season. This will form a very good asset to the purchaser, as the crop is' to be given in. The property is subdivided into seven paddocks, mostly by well-kept live fences. It should also be noted that the school is just one mile from the house, and, if the purchaser should happen to be a lover of the gentle art, then the River Waitaki, or even the creek that runs past the farm, can satisfy his bent. Altogether, to an enterprising man the property affords full scope for his talents, and will amply repay the outlay and energy requisite for the proper management of the place. Liberal terms can be given. For full information apply to n THE AUCTIONEERS.
