November B.— The ordinary meetings of the Portobello Boad, Board was held on October 25. The members present were Messrs Dlck'son, Seaton, Hinkl-y. .Lewis, and Anderson. The chairman not being present, Mr Oicksqn, was voted to the chair. Mr Henry Richmond wrote asking the board to open the road through Mr W.,BldUe's property, opposite Coney's Hotel, Portobello.- Resolved to take n6 action in the matter,. Mr* Fraser wrote asking the .board. to refund ber all the rates that she has paid on her property in block IV. O P., on the grounds that she had no road to it. -The clerk, was Initruotedjto Inform Mrs .Fraser that the board could not comply with her request.
