His sir* Is that celebrated stallion Lord Salisbury (114 N.Z. Stud Book), imported from Scotland by J V. Kitching, Esq., Moa Flat station, at a cost of ISOOgs, who has retired from the show ring an unbeaten hone. Salisbury's Pride's dam, Pride's Dading (611). imported from Viotoria by Mr John Trestrall. Pride't Darling's sire was Goz's.Pride of Sootland (imp.) ; dam Fanny, by Bothwell (imp.); 2nd dam by George Buchanan. Oox's Pride of Scotland (imp.) as a yearling took n;sh prize at Johnttone, first at Bairhead, first prize at Hamilton, first prize at Eilbride, and first prize nh Ayr. As a two-year-old he gained first prize at Hamilton, Eilbride, Barrhead, and Maryhill shows.
