Below the distance Deuce of Clubs went up to Batton and Soreech Owl, and no sooner had the three-year-old dropped out than he went across to Soreeob Owl and a collision occurred as they approaobed the stand. From that point Soreech Owl had none too much room, and with Deuce of Olubs breaking away in the last 100 yds, he won by a length and a-half from Lifeguard, who caught Soreech Owl on the post and secured seoond money by a head.
