To the Warden at Dunedin, I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that I intend to construct a Water Hac& to divert and use water for mining purposes, commencing at a point in Machine Creek in section 14, block 111, Mount Hyde, and terminating at Machine site in the mining reserve, as marked on sketch. The length of such race is 264 chains or thereabouts, and itß intended course iB : Starting in Machine Creek, in section 14, block 111, passing through sections 15, 25, 27, 28, 29 and 30, terminating at Machine site, in section 21, block IV, as marked in the attached plan. The mean depth of such race is 12in, and the mean breadth is 12in, and it is proposed to divert one Government head of water. Cost of construction: £158. Time required for construction: Three months.
