The Tuapeka Mouth School.
TO THK EDITOR.
Sir,— In the Interest of certain parties who are agitating for a change of teacher, I would like to nsk the correspondent of the Witness for Tunpeka Mouth If the rabbits were fche cause of the httendauce at the Tuapelta Klat school being reduced to two pupila under "our efficient, painstaking teacher" about nine years ago ? Also what Interest he has r-ver taken in our school affairs that he should interfere at the present juncture ? It ia evident thrtt it; is not a son or brother of his who has had to ride daily to an adjacent school district (Waitahuna West), a distance ot;ia mllea per day, to bo taught by the young ladies who have presided over that school cince it was opened, now over Mirett years ago, and taught as " our puinbtaking tuacher" does not seem able or willing to teach, and it is to be hoped that the Education Board, in the interests of 40 or 50 line boys and Rirla, will put a stop to an educational furce that surely can have no parallel in New Zealand. — Yours, &0., Gko. Younu. Tuapeka Mouth, May 5. Use Sunlight Soap for softening the skin. — [Advt.]
