The Auckland Racing Club concluded their Autumn meeting to-day under the most favourable circumstances as regards weather, but the attendance was very moderate. Good racing was witnessed throughout, In the Autumn Handicap Hilda carried lOsfc to victory and won easily. Results : — Stewards' Handicap, of 80»ovs. One mile.— Page's Antelope 8.10 (Taylor), 1 ; Bobbett's Quadrant 8.8 (Cook), 2; Burkes Dolosa 7.0 (Bird), 3. Two others ran. Won easily by a length. St. Michael took the lead at an early stage, j Hilda lying last until half a mile from home, when she commenced to go up, and passed all the field, landing first in the straight, and romping home an easy winner by two lengths. Autumn Steeplechase, of 130aovs. Three miles and a half. — Dickey's Recruit 10.12 (Frewin), 1 ; Kavanagh's Tawhlao 9.7 (Collins), 2; Ourrie and Hogan's Darnley 9.10 (Marshall), 3. Diavolo 9.7, Farnell 9.7, and Larrikin 9.7, also started. Recruit was in front nearly the whole time, Darnley, who kept company, throwing his rider at the top of the hill the second time round. Recruit won easily by 10 lengths. Time, 9min lOaec. Dividends, £2 2s 6d and £2 6s. Flying Stakes, of 60sovs. Three-quarters of a mile.— Sommerville's C158y9.3 (Taylor), 1 ; Bobbett's Quadrant 9 3 (Katterns), 2 ; Wright's Leolantie 7.4 (Buddicombe), 3. Only the three started.
