Weight, Stephknson, and Co. report as follows : Saturday's sale brought forward 70 entries, principally made up of dealers' and town lots. A small proportion <>f horses were really good, useful tarm sprfs, and of these a fair number were taken up for

country work. The greater number, however, consisted of spring cart and van horses, inferior draughts, hacks, and weedy sorts, but only a small number of these found purchasers. We quote ; -First-class draughts at £20 to £25; medium draughts, £12 to £15; first-olass hacks, £10 to £17 ; medium, £6 to £8; inferior. £l los to £5 ; carriage pahs, £40 to £60.
