Messrs Rbmshabdt and Co., manufacturers' agents, Water street, report for the week ending 21st inßt. &b follows :— • Being at a loss to explain the exceptional low prices ruling for some time past in the London market, we cabled to our London agents for the reason. Their reply is to the effect that the supply of European and American skins is this season exceptionally large. This circumstance explains therefore why the r}»e in London, so confidently expected by the local buyers, has not taken place. Locally a good business is doing, and the market remains firm. We are still paying 16d for good winter greys, at which figure we can take an almost unlimited quantity. Terms, cash on delivery without deductions.
