AITKBK CONNBLL, BBq., Dear Sir,- -In reply to your inquiries on the subject of the Acme Corrugated Batten, I may say that I have adopted and used tt in fixing corrugated iron on the roofs of buildings lately erected in this city under my supervision as architect. I find it to be I an eminently useful invention, fulfilling all that is I claimed for it by the inventor in .the printed circular forwarded to me. 1 consider that now the batten is available, no good building should be roofed with corrugated iron without) using it, as the Blight extra coßt is more tban compensated by the many and important advantages secured thereby.—! am, &0., P.
