The May meeting of ' the Dunedih Plnmpton Qoiirsiog Club was held at the Forbury on Thursday, Friday, and' Saturday, of last week. Mr Thos. Kett acted as/judge, and Mr W. The betting was ' 2 to 1 on the former who led up by 12 lengths, and allowed his opponent only one score by the time the hare had escaped. Mariner was backed at ' short odds against Rozelle. The former had slightly the best of the run up, and then a give and take course ensued/ Mariner, however, had the best of' it, and the white flag 'went up in his favour. In the fifth round Black Pine was .favourite against lona at 2 to 1.
