The Estate contains about 2280 acres freehold, well-fenced, and subdivided into 16 paddocks; 1600 acres are agricultural land, of which between 800 and 900 acres tare in grass, the remaining 680 acres' being good hill pasture and bush. About 50 acres ' of the latter (composed of black pine) are almost the only piece of maiden bush left in the district. • ' . The homestead comprises a good 13-roomed dwelling house and outbuildings, stable, barn, woolshed, &o. The Waipahi-Tapanui Railway runs along part of the property, and the Pomahaka siding is little more than a mile from the homestead.
