News has reached Gisborne that a horrible murder has beet) committed on the Mania Peninsula, where a man named Robert Gfollan has,beea murdered by a halfsaste named M'Quarrie. , Gollan's remains were found amongst the ruinsof his Whare, wbichiiad been destroyed, at Table* jCape. The womah says she had told Gollan of Makaore's overtures, consequently there was great bitterness and jealousy between the two.
