Mr Skknk reports underdate 1 ApriM6 :— lt is evident that every good man will get work,this winter. Farm and station-hands are in good demand. Dairy people are much wanted.' The West Coast railway will employ a large number, and the Exhibition here will give a spurt to a lot of tradesmen and labourers. ' Besides these a vast number will soon be wanted to cope with the rabbits. Wages keep steady.
