HORSE REPORT.
Messrs Wwght, Stbphbnson, and Co. report as I follows:— For Saturday's Bale the entries consisted of , about 50 head, ohiefly town and • dealers lots, of which about •25 changed hands at quotations. The 'attendance was large, but' the bidding for almost all descriptions of horses was extremely slack. We would' draw' the attention of farmers, breeders, &o.', to oar advertisement for next Saturday, when we will offer' a draft of really first-class heavy draught mares and geldings from a well-known breeder. We quote first-class' heavy draught mares and geldings at from £20 to £25 ; medium do, £10 to £15 ; light do, £5 to £10 ; first-class hacks and light harness horses at from £15 to £20; medium, £6 to £12 ; light and inferior £1 10s to £3. [The individual reports of wool, rabbitskin, or grain broken can be inserted in the Daily Times and Otago Witness at special rates,']
