Moritzson akd Hopkin, Millers, Grain, Produce, and Commission Agents, Manse street, Dutiedin, report as follows: — Wheat.— Market continues firm, but arrivals are ew. Northern Tuscans aro worth 4s 6d to 4s 7d ; velvets and red straw, 4s 4d to 4s tid; Southern samples— best Tuscans, 4b 5d to 4i 6d ; other milling aorti, 4s 4d to 4s sd. Fowls' wheat : Tn good demand ; for prime shipping', lots, 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; medium, 3s 2d to 3s 4d. Barley tln fair demand : but maltsters are adverse to paying the high prices asked. We quote 3s 9d to 4s 2d ; milling. 3s 8d to 4s. Oats are in good demaud, and are worth to-day for milling 2s 8d to 2s 8d; bright plump feed, 2s 6d to 2s Bd. We have good Inquiry for shipping parcels at above rates. Flours Timaru roller, £11 10s ; Oamam roller, £10 10a; Southern and town brands, £10— 50's are 15s on these prices. Oatmeal s Long ton ia bulk. £13 ; 25's £13 ; 7's £15 ; Bran, 54 ss. Sharps, £5. Potatoes in good demand. Oamaru (Derwents), £4 5b to £4 10s per ton. We got inquiry for 500 tons to-day. Pigs s Well fed up to 1801b, 4d. Chaff : Heavy clean oaten sheaf, £4 ss, and scarce at that price. Carrots, £2 10s. Straw (oaten and wheaten), 40s. Onions, £11. Hay (oaten), 6£s. Clover and ryegrass hay, 655. Butter: Prime salt this week has less demand, but price is firm at lOd— kegs extra; separator butter, Is 2d. Eggs : Plentiful. Honey i 4d to 4£d for extracted. Cheeses Akaroa, sd; lpaves, s£d; factory, s£d; loaves, 6sd. Hams and bacon: Hams,«d; flitches and rolls, 6j<i. Grass seeds : Ryegrass, 2s 9d to 38— farmers' dressed ; 3b 6d to 4s machine dressed ; cocks> foot, 3d.
