A Fairlie Creek telegram in the Christchurch Press states that IWr G. E. Mannering and party got to the Ball Glacier on Wednesday. The weather is turning out fine, and they intend to take photos on the Tasman Glacier this week. There is much fresh snow on Mount Cook.
