Half-way down the straight Martinet was beaten, and Cataract came on from Fra Diavolo and Upset, with Fulmen, who had been hampered, in the rear. At the distance Upset headed both Fra Diavolo and Cataract, and Fulmen getting an opening rapidly drew into second place, .but though he made up a lot of ground he failed to reach Upser, who won by three-parts of a length; a length separating second and third. j
