Agricultural.— Owing to the recent rains and floods farming operations have been iilrnosu «t a standstill of late. Ploughing, however, ha* teen steadily gone on with for some time past, and in some places early whe-t has been sown. Now that the weather has taken a turn it is to be hoped that work will be pushed briskly ahead, as thing? area great way behind this season.
