A boy had read that Virginia was colonised in the reign of the virgin Queen Elizabeth, and 80 it was named Virginia, but when asked when it was colonised, answered, "In the reign of the Virgin Mary! " Now, I dare say our kind friend the editor finds he cannot allow us any more space, so I must stop for this week. I have used the words crude, hydraulic, rifled, infuriated, and a few others children do not generally take notice of, but I want you to get your dictionaries any time you do not understand a word and find out its meaning, or perhaps father or mother, or Bomo one, will tell you the meaning.
