The weekly meeting of the' Land Board on Wed nesday was attended by Messrs Maitlgnd, Logan, Clark, and Dallas. Dunedin. — The Dunedin Town Clerk having written that the council objected to Mr John Colvin'a application fur a Crown grant of the watercourse intersecting section 10, block XXXVI, Dunedin, being granted, the board declined the application. - MAtuotfOTO.— P. M'Cluskey having paid the sum of £50 16s 3d on his perpetual lease section in Maniototo, it was resolved that the resolution forfeiting his lease be rescinded. St. Bathans. — An application by H. Excell that the land in St. Bat.hans township be withdrawn from sale onaccount of its auriferous nature, was referred to the ranger for a report. Clyde — Ranger Shaw haying resigned hia position at Clyde, the board appointed District Surveyor Barron to value improvements on Messrs Weir and Smith's holdings.
