WARDEN'S COURT.
Mr Warden Carew held a siti ng of the Warden's Court oa Friday last, when the following business was taken :—: —
Peter Henry Lyders was granted a license holdins: over section 46, block IV (2<i acres), Mount Hyde. Thomas Begg applied for special claim over section 45, block IV (90 acres), Mount Hyde.— Reserved for consideration.
The above applicant was aKo granted the following : — Machine site (over three ncres) nfc Hindon, residence aite (one acre) at Hindon, "dam sites at Green and Tucker Gull'ea (half-acre each), and tail race (half-mile) from Tucker (Sully to Machine Creek. Mr Begg also applied for tramways from Tucker Gully to Machine Creek (half-mile), from the Don reef to Tucker Gully (quarter-mile), and from
Green Gully to machine aite at the end of Green and Tucker Gullies ; but the applications were adjourned until a sketch plan- of the proposed tramways had been furnished. John Harrison applied for an extended claim over two aores in Fraser Gully, which was granted.
