Golden Treasure. — Tenders for the purchase of this company's gold and coal mines, crushing plant, &c. closed yesterday, and it is reported that J. B. Beeche, sbarebroker, Reefton, is the highest tenderer, the price being £855, and that it has been accepted by the Dunedin directors subject to the ratification of the shareholders. August 5. The following are the battery returns for the past week : — Keep-it-Dark, 2940z amalgam from 168 tons of stone ; Fiery Cross Extended. 170oz amalgam from 96 tons ; Progress, 68oz amalgam from 80 tons ; Globe, 160oz amalgam from 170 tons.
