The Hunt Club steeplechases were held at Riccarton to-day. The weather was wet, and the attendance small. The results : —

Hunters' Huhdles, of 30sovs. One mile and a-half.— Mr T Kearney's Reuben, 12st (owner), 1 ; Mr T H Lance'a Premier, 13st 71b (owner), 2 ; Mr H Q Pitt's Squib, 12s 121b (owner), 3. Nine others ran. Time, 3min 18sec. Dividends, £9 4s and £12.
