By doing business as nearly as possible direct between tho pro duc«r and manufacturer a great bulk of the charges arc saved, which secures the beat possible price to the seller here. Present quotations are as follows : — Clear pelted May skius (greys), lod per lb ; best April caught (good autumn), about 12d ; medium autumns, 9d to lid; summers and autumns (mixed) 7d to 9d ; spring skins, about lid ; half-grown sliina, 4cl ; suckers, Id to 3d. These prices are free ot all charges.
