LETTERS FROM LITTLE FOLKS. POLLYS TRIP TO DUNEDIN.

Dear Dot, — I went to Dunedin last Easter, and as it was my first visit to a large town I was surprised at the size of the shops and at the crowds of people going about. I liked riding in the trams very much, especially the" Mornington tram. I went up High street in it, but I djd not venture down in it. It seemed very dark to me going in the tunnels, as I had never been through one before. We have a town near us, but not nearly so large or nice as Dunedin. Mamma took me to Knox Church one Sunday night, where I heard the organ played. I enjoyed it very much, because I like music. On my way home I stayed two nights in Balclutha with some of mamma's friends. When we reached home they were all glad to have us back again. — Yours sincerely, Mary Nairn Mac Gibbon. Bowmore, Mataura, August 6.
