Dunedin Produce Market.

J. H. KiL&otm, grain and produce broker, reports under date September 9 as follows :—

Wheat. — The market continues about the same as reported last week. Prime milling parcels of white velvet and Tuscan are saleable at usili to 3s Id ; other milling descriptions, 2s lOd to 3s Id ; fowl feed is in very short supply, and would fetch 2s i?d so :h Bd. Oats.— There has been a fair demand during the week, but without alteration in prices. I quote milling 2s; bright short feed, 1b lid; ordinary feed. Isßdtols9d.

Barley.— The market is quiet at 3s to 8s 3d for malting, and 2s to 2s fid for feed and milling. Chaff. — Good quality, well cut., ia in demand at £3 per ton ; inferior, £2 5s to £2 10s. Potatoes.— The market for Derwents has rather improved, and <63 15s is now the quotation for good quality. Butter. — Salt is in demand, and the supply very short. Any prime lots would fetch lid. Fresh is in full supply, and recent quotations arc barely maintained. Cheese, 5d per lb for best quality. Eggs.— My sales have been at BJd to 9d per dozen. Grass Seed. — There is a. good v demand for ryegrass at 4s 9d to 5s for well-dressed parcels off old pasture ; cocksfoot, 4£d per lb.
