HOUSE MARKET
Wright, Stepkesson, and Co. report as follows :—: —
The supply for last Saturday's sale was again small, especially of young draughts, for which there was a fair demand at quotations ior shipment to Sydney and Brisbane. We also note an inquiry for ih-st-cliiss upstanding hacks and carriage horses for shipment to Australian markets. Vendors of these descriptions of horses would do well to avail themselves of the present demand. We quote iirst-class draughts at from £23 to £30 ; medium, £14 to £20 ; lirst-clabs hacks and light, harness horses, £10 to £25 ; medium, JEB to £M: light and inferior, £3 to £13.
