Colledge. — On the 2nd of January, at Springfield, Edinburgh, Dr Colledge, only brother ot J. L. Colledge, of Dunedin ; aged 80. Jackson. — On the Bth July, at his residence, Carey's Bay, Lower Harbour, Port Chalmers. John Jackson, late of Sfconnykirk, Scotland ; in his 78th year. Campbell.— (By cable.)— On the 9th July (from a buggy accident), at Wntrous, Las Vegas, New Mexico, James, second son of the late Duncan Campbell, formerly of Merrie Creek Station and Waipahi.
Gkixdley. — On the 11th July (suddenly), at his residence, Albany street, Dunedin, William Grindley, butcher ; aged (30 years. Valentine. — On the 11th July, at Waikouaiti, the beloved wife of John Valentine ; aged 37.
Lee. — On the 11th July, at the residence ofßobert Lee, Shiel Hill, Anderson's Bay, George Lee, eldest son of Joseph Lee, West Land Ends, Haydon Bridge, Northumberland, England ; aged 27 years. • Miller. — On the 12th July, at her residence, Broughton Hill, Kaikoiai, Elizabeth Thomson, wife of Mr Andrew Miller ; aged 52 years. Maling. — On the 14th July, at his residence, Biirke's Town, Upper Harbour, Alfred Maling; in his -13rd year. Deeply regretted. Wilson.— On the 14th July, at Dunedin Hospital, William Wilson, of Hamilton, Scotland. Deeoly regretted. • •
