The La Monte Gold-saving Process.
Afc a meeting ot tho gentlemen torming the syndicate to work La. Mouse's water-jacket furnace (says the Auckland Herald) it was reported that preliminary arrangements have been made, and it is expected tliat within three months from date the furnace will be in hill operation, and if anything approaching the results that have bsen brought about at Sunny Corner are effected here it will produce a complete revolution in the goldmining industry of New Zealand. We understand that already some inquiries have been received from gentlemen 'connected with mining ventures in the Southern Island, ab to the cost ot furnace aud plant. Mr La Monte having made over all his rights to the Auckland syndicate, all applications for furnaces and right to use them must be made here, and a royalty be paid to this syndicate for each ton of ore smelted.
