The revenue collected at the Dunedin Cuofomhouse during the past month amounted to £12,277 1.3s lOd. Tho revenue for the corresponding month of last year amounted to £28,910 11s Bd. The total amount of revenue collected at the Custom-house here for the quarter ending June 30, 1885, was £08.923 10s (3d. and for the corresponding quarter of last year £57,576 19s Id. On Saturday" Messrs Matson and Co. held a sale of ao-ricultural land at Chrisi church, when very s atis-, factory prices were obtained. 672 acres at Lincoln, 12 miles from Christchuroh, were sold at prices ranging from .£l3 to £22 10s per acre, realising a gross of £12.217 ; also 115 acres at Southbridge, 36 miles from Christchurch, at £22 10s per acre. Messrs Dalgety and Co. have received the following cable trom their head office, London:— "Fourth series of Colonial wool sales opens September 1. All arrivals up to the commencement of the sale will be admitted. Fifth series will open on 171 h November. Wool market, is weak, and great quantities are daily withdrawn."
