At the salo of Tasmanian 3fcud sbeep huld in Sydney by Messrs Mort and Co., en the lifch ond lftrh ir.st., the Hon. W. Robinson purchns.'d some lo'jj. Mr Robincon, at the flr;t (Jay'a sale, paid tho h'ghost price given during the day - namely, 330 guineas fo^ the stud ram Fortune, seven ycard old, from Mr J. O. Toosey, of Croasy. He also paid CO guineas each for two four-tooth rams. On tho second day M.r Robinson paid 530 guineas for Silverdvop, three yens 3 c-ld, bred by Air James Gibson. In tho two days.' sale 521 sheep were sold, realising £10,891 2s Gd.
