Lewis.- A letter was received from Mr 4, Jflathieson, stating: that for the present he declined

Telfer was appointed a member of Committee. — The Pre-ident offered a cup, value £5 ss, the Hevising Committee to heva power ro j'laco it in any cla-8 in the catalogue.— After an animated discussion, it was resolved that the forthcomlnu Show be held on Krid wy, the 28th of December.— Mr A. Stewart offered the gratuitous uao of sufficient ground on his property adjoining the Portobello Road for tho exhibition. A Committee—consisting of Messrs C. Weir, •I. Sanderson, J. Macandrew, and W. Dick— was appointed to inspect 'he ground, and make the necessary arrangements as to fixtures, &c— A hearty vote of thanks was propo.-ed to the President for his generous liberality, and was carried with acclamation. — .
