HORSE'S TONGUE HANGING OUT.
Subscriber, Rough Ridge, writes : — I notice in your Veterinary column of June 16th that " Settler," Taieri, asked for a remedy to keep his horse's tongue in its mouth. The enclosed is the drawing of a bit which I have seen used successfully for that purpose.
There is no doubt that the drawing you enclose seems the right sort of model for a bit for this purpose. We will write to the correspondent you' refer to, and forward him the drawing you send us.
