The fencing is all thoroughly substantial, and there are over 3000 acres ploughed on variuus parts of the portion to be i Bold. All has been sown with the exoeption of a few smaller blocks, which will bo ready for sowing this season. The Rissington homestead Mock has many valuable improvements, cultivationpaddocks, &c, a capital country Beat, besides containing Mount M'Neiil, one of the beat grazing hills in Hawko's Bay. Mount Cameron is equally wellknown, being another block. The ArdlußßO Downs are all fit for the plough. Hawke'o Bay wheat and barley is considered by millers equal to Adelaide grain. A district branch railway line has for some time been contemplated from the trunk line near Pokowbai to Woodthorpe, a distance of about 15 miles. Woodthorpe is opposite tbe eastern rxtremity of tho estate. From thence to Pnkltitri Bush there is a good road laid off, and £400 lately voted to complete this route to the Government reserve, containing a largo supply oE the fiat'Bt timber in the Colony— totara, rimu, niatai, &c.
