Nominations for all > ho Handicaps to be made at the Secretary's Office, Union Chambers, on MONDAY, April 17th, before 8 o'clock. Handicaps will be declared on SATURDAY, 22nd April, and published in the daily papers of , . the 24th April. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine, to be imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding 5 sovf, to the race fund, All races to be run under the Dunedin Jookey Club Rules. In the event of any person entering a protest, the »urn of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered ; this •am to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexation?, Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys paid in accordance with the programme for expenses. All disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint.
