PRESBYTERY OF DUNEDIN.
A special meeting of the Presbytery of Dunedin was held in tho Hall of the First Church on Wednesday morning, for the purpose of presenting to the Rev. A. C.' Gillies, for- his acceptance, the call from the North Dunedin congregation. The members present -were the Revs. Lindsay Mackie (moderator pro. tern.), Dr Stuart; R. R. ]\L Sutherland; J. M. Sutherland, C. S. Ross,' M. Watt,' H. E. Michie, and A. M. Finlayiion ; andMr'Hutton, elder. In 1 addressing the'Rov. A. C. Gillies, the Rev. Mr Macikie said that it gavo him much pleasure to place in his hands a unanimous call (signed by 110 moinbers and s9 adherents) fromtho North Dunedin congregation. Ho' had the full assurance of the Presbytery that they were fully satisfied with his oxperionce, and Iho 'congregation had had a long vacancy. The* Rev. Mr Gilliks : I accept the call. It was then agreed that the Presbytery should meet in tho North Dunedin Church on Tuesday, 4th April, at 11 a.m., for the induction of the Rev. Mr Gillies, and that tho Rev. C. S: Ross should preach and preside, tho Rev.' Dr StUiWt to address the minister, .and tho Rev. M. Watt the congregation.
