Betting : 13 to 8 agst Brown Bess, 5 to 1 agst Sideral, 100 to 15 agst Dreamland, 8 to 1 agat Mother Shipton, 100 to 7 agst Mycenae, 100 to 6 Roulette. After one false start the lot were dispatched on fair terms. After running about a quarter of a mile the Lady of Lyons colt and Napoli drew to the front, clear of Stitchery, Sideral, Mother Shipton, and Triumvir, these forming the loading lot to the mile post. Here Sideral assumed the oommand, while Mycense commenoed to improve hia position. At the fivefurlong post Napoli, the Lady of Lyons colt, and Sideral dropped away, and Mycanae rushed to the front and took up the running, followed by Mother Shipton, Roulette, Hagiosoope, and Brown Bess, A quarter of a mile from home Rlother Shipton came out, and drawing away, won a fast race easily by a length from Hagioscope. Dreamland waa a bad third, Triumvir fourth. Time, 3 mm 33 sec. GREAT YORKSHIRE STAKES, Of 800 soys, added to a sweepstake of 15 soys each. For three-years-old -colts, Bst 101b ; fillies, Bst 51b. Ishmael led for the first three- quarters of a mile, when he was joined by his stable companion Privateer, tho pair being quite olear of the rest. On entering the distance Privateer waa supplanted by Cameliard, who cama away with Ishmael mid rau a fine raoe home, Ishmael winuing only on the post by a head; five lengths between Cameliard and Tristan, Time, 3 miv 27 seo.
