OUTBAM ROAD BOARD.
The annual meeting of the above Board was h«ld on Thursday, the 18th inst. Present : Messrs P. Grant, Hidden, and Stevenson. • Mr P. Grant was called to the chair. The minutes of the last meeting were read and con- ' balance-sheet for the last year was laid before The following resolutions were carried :—" That the balance-sheet be adopted and siened by the Chairman. —"That Mr James Shandbe chairman for the ensuing trear."— "That Mr Peter Grant be treasurer for the ensuing j ear."— "That Messrs Reid and Duncans be ■ enrineers for the ensuing year ; salary, 6 per cent, on outlay of the Board."-" lhat Mr T.Richardson be : clerk and collector for the ensuing year.'— "That Mr W. Snow be auditor for the ensuing year."—" That the ' clerk be instructed to write to Messrs Duncan and Macgretror and request them to transfer the land on '■ which a deviation in the road is made on the Henley- ■ Berwick 'oad from the Henley Company to the Board ; and also to request Messrs Reid and Duncans to supply the necessary plans, &c."— "That the formation of road near Henley bridge be from the corner of road leading to Berwick up as far as the B drain ; and that the next monthly meeting be postponed until the 3rd September, to give time for tenders to be sent in.
