OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTOTAL ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the above Association was held 5n Mr Sydney Jamea' office, Pnnqeß Btreet, on Wednesday afternoon. There were present— The President (James Shand, Esq.), and Messrs Brydone.' Smith, Roberts, Gourley, TVgart, Soutter, Dodson, Peake, Orbell, Philp, Dowsa, Obarters, Ferguson, Stronacb, and Spence. It was deoided to hold the annnal show on Friday and Saturday, 25th and 26th November. On fcHe motion of Mr J. F. Peake, it was reßolved that the Programme Committee consist of Messrs Shand, Brydone, Roberts, Smith, and the mover, with power to add to their number* The following gentlemen were then elected to act as 'Yard Committee :— Messrs Brydone, Smith, Gourlay, Dowse, and Roberta. The Canvassing- Committee for the city consist of Messrs Dowse, Spence, Brydont 1 , Stephenson, Roberts, Philp, Taggart, Shand, Lachlan [Maclean, P<imke, Dowse, Meenan, Gourlej, Dodson,' and Patrick. Oa the motion, of Mr Smith it was resolved to ascertain on what terms the Dunedin Jockey Club w"6nld lease their ground at Forbury for the' purpose of holding shows for a term of yearß. , if , , It was tegolved ' that each member receive a lady's ticket as usual.
