The ConiSe met to consider charges which were made against the teacher, and tho result was a letter to the gcretary of the Education Board recommending his dismissal. If he has so much regard for the late teacher he has a strange way of showing it. Well Sy the teacher ask to* be saved from such friends IposOTo^^ they did by those who rewarded evil for good to the late teacher Apart from the seven members of Comm ttee there an! very few parents in the district who have children going to school-so few that they could have very little ferce to compel. I hope he will now understand the sentence without, any more explanation lam surprised that he should so tempt people to stir up the muddy waters of the past. Instead of striving to show that I am deficient in common sense and had set him a bad example, &c., he would have been better employed in making good his statements. He seems to have a pretty high opinion of his own ability and good sense. I believe he is able to make what he considers a good story out of very little material. He should bear in mind that "facts arc chiels that winna ding."— l am, &c, May 9th.
