We invite views and experiences upon matters relating to (he station, the farm, garden, and household, and ask that they be given in as brief and condensed a manner a > iruty 68. Oar columns are also open to correspondents who aeiire information vjion matters concerning agriculture.
Forthcoming Shows. Tuesday and Wednesday, 9th and 10th November. — Canterbury Metropolitan Show. Wednesday and Thursday, 6th and 7th October.— Napier Agricultural and Pastoral Socioty's Annual show. Ploughing Matches. August 6th.— Southland Champion Match, Mr Roberts' Farm, Waikiwi. August 13th.— Shag Valley Annual Match, Mr Hugh M'Donald's paddock, near Blue Mountain. August 27th.— Waikaia Plat Match, in Mr J. H. Davidson's paddock. Secretaries of Agricultural Societies and Ploughing Match Committees arc requested to furnish us with the dates on which their various shows and matches are to bo held, in order that our list may be kept as complete as possible.
