CARGILL KILWINNING LODGE.

The installation of the R.W.M., and investiture of the officers of the Cavgill Kilwinning Lodge, No C 32, S.C., took place at the lodge-room in the Port Chalmers Hotel on Tuesday evening. There were fully 80 brethren present, and the Lodges represented were Otago Kilwinning, No. 417 ; Celtic, St. Andrew's, Taieri, and Cromwell Kilwinning, S.C. The Lodges under the English Constitution wore those of Otago, 844 ; Dunedin, 031 ; Port Chalmers Marine, 942 ; St. George's, and the Curwond, No. 1400. The ceremony of installing the 11. W.M. was ably performed by the R.W., x ßro. J. Gore, R.W.D.D.G.M.. S.C; the R.W., Bro. S. T. Kerr, acting as director of ceremonies ; whilst a choir, composed of Bros. Ferguson, P.M. ; Marsden, P.M. ; Riedle, and Asher, contributed a selection of anthems and chants suitable to the occasion. The following were the officers installed and invested:— W. Caldwell, R.W.M. ; J. Louden, R.W.D.M. ; J. Grinley, R.W.S.M. ; A. Perry, S.W. ; R. Bard, J.W. ; S. Perry, treasurer ; J. Laing, secretary; W. Collins, S.D. ; W. Sutcliffc, J.D. ; J. Baird, chaplain ; G. L. Asher, organist; J. Tucker, J.G. ; D. Miller, S.S. ; J. Tunnage, J.S. After the installation of the R.W.M. the usual salutes were rendered under the direction of Bro. S. T. Kerr, and the meeting was closed at 9 p.m. A ball to celebrate the event was afterwards given in the Foresters' Hal],
