WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required t~> be taken under "Ttie Public Works Act, 1876," and "Tbe Public Works Act, 1876, Amendment Act, 1878," for a certain work, to wit, the c nstruction of a road in Sections forty-three, forty-four, and forty-flvo, iilock six. North Harbour and Blueskin District, County of Waikouaiti: And whereas the Blueskin Road Board has_ laid before the Governor the memorial and map mentioned in and Bigned and certified as required by the said Acts ; Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Exeoutive Council of tho said Colony, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by sections twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, and twenty-five of "The Public Works Act, 1876," and by section twenty-eight of "The Public Works Act, 1876, Amendment Act, 1878," and ef any other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto ia hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and that, from and after the fifth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, the land bo described shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in Her Majesty, dissharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, and interests of what kind soever, for use as a road.
