Inveroargill, December 4th. Donald M'Kay ha 3 been committed for trial for counselling and procuring Duncan Cameron to Bet fire to an unoccupied building, his property, at Mataura. Bail was refused. . December Bth. • The sittings of the Supreme Court commenced to-day, before Mr Justice Williams. The only case heard was one against Patrick M'Menamin, charged with feloniousiy killing a horse. It ended in an acquittal. December 9th. The Supreme Court resumed this morning, when Nathan Potter was sentenced to six months' imprisonment for larceny from a dwelling. Two small civil cases having been decided, the Court adjourned sine die.
