For tho last ten nights tho great moral and religious drama of " Uncle Tom's Cabin" hns> been drawing crowded houses nt tho Princess's Theatre. ] t is Ion" since we have had a perform ance which has proved fo attractive. No expense appears to lave been spared by Messrs Liddy, South, Collier, aud Lewis in placing it upon the boards. Tho company i 3 a strong coQibiuation,§iDcluding not only a number of first class couipdians, but Lewis' Georgia Minstrels. In tho drama presented by the company all the leading and interesting features of the plot are carefully presented, while a few humorous scenes are introduced in tho way of innovation, just to give a relief to the sombre shades of the picture. lb is the judicious blending of light aud shade, of humour and pathos, £bat gived the principal charm to the production. Night after night the performance has been received, with the heirliest applause. It would "undoubtedly run as long Jigain, wero it oot that the theatre is engaged for Monday night by Mr George Darrell and his Star Com. pany. It is Mr Liddy's intention, however, we Relieve, to visit Dunedin again ia the course of $ few weeks,
