Mom and Son, the Preserved Provision Merchants, of London and Aberdeen, have, it appears, gained the highest Award obtainable at the Paris Exhibition, viz., the Gold Medal. This enterprising firm appears to take great care that all their goods shall be of undoubted quality, as the following instance is sufficient to show. It appears that for several years the oranges from Seville have arrived in this country in bad order — a large partion quite unfit for use. Under these circumstances Messrs Moir and Son have opened a factory of their own at Seville, where in future their Marmalade will be made from oranges fresh gathered from the gardens.— Morning Post.
