Maben to offer for sale at Watsons' Hotel on Friday, February 7th, 1879, at 2.30 o'clock, The extensive and valuable Property known as BENMORE ESTATE, Comprising about 15,000 acres, laid off into farms of areas ranging from 200 to 2000 acres each. Benmore is situated on the^ main line of railway from Invercargill to Kingston, about 32 miles from the former place. The line skirts the property, and there is a railway station within half a mile of the homestead. The land consists mostly of excellent agricultural soil, suitable for the growth of auy description of grain and other crops, andean, with the exception of a small portion, be all ploughed. Good roads intersect the estate, and with railway communication cloße by the position is rendered an admirable one for the dispatch of produce to market. Benmore is surrounded by valuable properties, all being rapidly brought into a high state of cultivation, and since the productive nature of the soil in the district has become so well-known, the demand for land in the locality is constantly increasing, with a corresponding advance in value. The leasehold, consisting of about 16,000 acres, having four years to run, at the Government rent, will be divided similarly to tbe freehold, each purchaser obtaining a piece of country of about same extent. The leasehold will be given in, and as it is all commanded by the freehold blocks, the buyers of these will be placed in the advan tageous position of retaining occupation hereafter almost on their own terms. With the object of encouraging small farmers, the terms of payment will be of the most liberal character, viz , a small deposit and the balance payable over a period of years.
