The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54 Hclbom Viaduct, E.C., London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Sohnapps, received from Mr H. J. HART. - We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very oarefnl chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report, Bhow that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from aoidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a deli- , cate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam's Schnapps is a very Superior Article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. Hart, Esq. „" ' Sir, — I' have the honour t6 report for your information that the sample ■of Imperial Schiedam Sohnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical oxaminatiop, the result of which' enables meto'statetbat it is tho Finest Sample of Schnapps that has as yet come under my notice, i I It has a pure' fragrant odour, and is absolutely free front any trace of fuail or other injurious impurity,, and has evidently been distillled from superior rye> grain, always used instead of 'mall; in the production of the choicest qualities of Sohnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this rtespect comparesf avouiably with other samples offered for sale. It may bo advised as equally suit* able for medical or economic purposes.
